Meet at the front of Leigh on Sea Station (plenty of parking behind station).

An Easy walk to Shoeburyness. Lunch stop in Southend with plenty choices of pubs, tea rooms etc.

Then onto Gunnesbury park, through the old barracks to Shoeburyness, where we take the train back. Plenty of opportunities to cut the walk short if you need to.

Meet at the front entrance of Bow underground station District line. Oranges and Lemons.

An easy walk visiting the churches that make up the nursery rhyme from the East End to the Strand.

Meet Gifford Cross Rd car park, Corringham.

Alton Water near Ipswich.

The walk starts from the visitors centre around the reservoir. Woodland, sweeping views, birds, wildlife.

Lunch at The White Horse, Tattingstone also cafe at the end.

Hockley Woods to Hulbridge. A fairly flat walk through woodland and fields to the Anchor, a riverside pub where we stop for lunch. (currently there’s no parking fee at Hockley Woods cp at weekends).

Great Stambridge to Canewden Circular.

A varied, walk across the East Essex countryside to the hamlet of Paggleshan, with it’s pretty church. Then onto The Anchor PH Canewden, for a lunch break. Wide sweeping views of the Roach and Crouch estuaries.

A dinner celebrating the 35th anniversary of Thurrock Ramblers will be held at the Langdon Golf and Country Club, Lower Dunton Rd, Bulphan, RM14 3TY

A flattish, North Kent walk on the weald way Through Northfleet, passing Owletts (NT) To Cobham, where we have a lunch stop at The Leather Bottle, a famous Dickensian pub. Short afternoon.

Theydon Bois Circular. The Oak Trail offers an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful area of Epping. The undulating route passes magnificent veteran beech and oaks. Crossing meadows, an Iron age hill fort and deer sanctuary. A choice of two pubs and Belgium cake restaurant are at the end of the walk. Bring a packed lunch for the half way break.

Post Code for start of the walk CM3 4NQ  (Start 10am).

Walking around Danbury and Little Baddow.

A moderate walk in lovely countryside, a couple of hills and hopefully lots of bluebells.

Tea break at Paper Mill Lock and lunch at The General Arms.

A moderate circular walk starting from Coggeshall.

Post Code CO6 1UH. Parking charges may be introduced (currently free).

A pleasant mostly flat walk passing Marks Hall estate in the morning.

Lunch is at Greenstead Green Barn Cafe (beer available but in bottles, so you may want to bring your own!!).

Meet at Rectory Rd car park, Grays. Or 10 o clock at start of walk. Hornchurch FC, Bridge Ave, Upminster RM14 2LX. Park in Bridge Ave.

A pleasant circular walk through country parks following the Ingrebourne  passing Berwick Ponds and various lakes on the way to Rainham Village, where there will be a choice of pubs or cafe for lunch.

A circular kent walk from Limpsfield Chart to Staffhurst Woods. In spring the woods are said to have some of the best bluebells in England of the native variety. One moderate hill in the afternoon. Pub stop at The Grumpy Mole (Royal Oak) in Oxted

Annual Coach Ramble

A Cultural walk with a wealth of historical and interesting statues and memorials.

One fairly steep hill from Runymede to The Canadian Air Force Memorial. Bring a packed lunch, There is a cafe along the way.

Then a spectacular view from the George III statue before we follow the stately “Long Walk” to Windsor Castle. There will be time for a meal in Windsor at the end.

Groombridge  Circular Via Harrison Rocks. A very varied Kent walk, partly following the Spa Valley Heritage Steam Railway. Lunch in the Boars Head. This walk is renown for bluebells in season.

We return passing the dramatic Harrison Rock formation.

Meet Rectory Road car park Grays

Darenth Valley walk, Kent. Starting from Eynsford Railway Station, a long walk through the scenic undulating Darenth Valley. Climbing a sharp hill to a golf course and descending a good number of steps to Shoreham Village for lunch at Ye Olde George inn. The return to Eynsford is a gentle walk along the Darenth passing Kingfisher bridge and Lullingstone castle.

Easy linear walk on part of Essex Way. Manningtree to Wrabness. Park at Wrabness station £2 Fee. Post Code CO11 2TJ. Train leaves at 10.03 for Manningtree. Fare £3.80.

Pub stop at Bradfield Stranger’s Home Inn.

Westley Heights to Orsett Via Horndon. A scenic local walk through woodland and open countryside to Orsett Village where thre will be a choice of two pubs for lunch.

A gentle circular walk through Farthing Down and Happy Valley with stunning views from the North Downs Way.

Pub stop at The Fox at Coulsden Common.

A very pretty flat circular walk starting from Maldon Golf Club, Beeleigh, along the Chelmer to Woodham Walter where we stop for a pub at lunch. Return through Fields and open countryside.

Take the A128 to the Halfway House. Go over the A127 towards Brentwood (still A128) then take the first turning on the right, posted Essex Golf Course, go to the second car park on right, No fee required.
