Meet at Gifford’s Cross road car park.

Ford End. Essex countryside walk with one gentle hill. Passing Leez Priory in the morning. Lunch break at the Compasses in Littley Green. Walking on part of the Saffron Trail in the afternoon.

This local Circular walk through some of Thurrock’s prettiest countryside was one of Hazel’s favourite walks.

Borough Green, Kent.

A moderate walk with a few short climbs (not particularly hard). Through rolling countryside, orchards and woodland

Meet Gifford’s Cross road car park Corringham

A circular almost flat walk from Great Stambridge to Pagglesham & Canewdon Essex. With fine views across the Roach and Crouch river valleys. Lunch at The Anchor Canewdon. Also pub at the end!

A pleasant circular walk in the North Kent countryside passing Owletts (NT) on the way to Cobham village, where we have lunch at a choice of pubs.

Billericay to Stock circular.

A fairly flat walk through fields and woodland.

Lunch in Stock, where there’s a choice of three pubs and tea shops.

Meet at Stratford Station, outside the entrance to Westfield Shopping Centre.

The Olympic Park and surrounding Area.

A flat, nine mile walk through the park, canals and the surrounding district. Plenty of opportunities for refreshments

Please come along as this is your opportunity to find out how the group is run, what the committee does on your behalf and a chance to discuss what you have enjoyed (or not) over the year.

A circular walk from Matfield via Paddock Wood Kent.

A lovely undulating walk through the Kent countryside.

No steep hills.

Cafe and pub halfway round and tearoom and pub in Matfield at the end.

Can be muddy after rain.

Meet - Upminster station front entrance.(parking charge)

Monopoly Board Walk Part 1.

An easy London walk, visiting many places from the famous Monopoly game.

We do not pass go but you could spend £200, let’s hope nobody gets sent to jail!

Don’t forget your Rail / Oyster / Contactless cards and bus passes.

A joint walk with Redbridge Ramblers. Starting from High Beach, Epping (Post Code IG10 4AE).A varied circular walk through Epping Forest via Bell Common and Upshire.

Lunch stop at The Horseshoes Upshire. Very busy pub, so bring a packed Lunch. Refreshments and pub at end of walk

Meet at Giffords Cross Road car park Corringham

Galleywood to Writtle.

An easy circular walk taking in part of the estate boundary of Hylands Park through Galleywood Common to Writtle. Tea break at The Stables. Then on to Writtle Green where there’s a choice of two pubs for lunch.

This walk can be easily shortened in the event of inclement weather

Meet at Covent Garden underground station.

A leisurely walk from Covent Garden to Liverpool street via Hoxton and Shoreditch.

Walk can be shortened at any point.

Supper in a pub post walk

Meet at West Ham Station (top of the escalator for the Jubilee line)

North Greenwich to Blackheath Village. A linear walk combining riverside, parks and good views.

Pub stop for lunch.

We will be returning to Greenwich by bus. So please have a bus pass, oyster or contactless card as the London buses do not take cash.

Mill Green to Margaretting Tye.

A pretty, varied flat walk from Mill Green through Essex countryside.

Lunch stop at The White Heart at Margaretting Tye.

Naverstock Side figure of 8. Post code CM14 5SD  L/R 175 TQ563/973. The morning takes us to Navestock Heath returning to Navestock Side. The afternoon through the Weald Country Park to the visitors centre, returning to Navestock Side.

No pub in Navestock Side, so bring a packed lunch.

An easy, mud free walk on gravel paths.

Walking from the Olympic White Water Centre (parking charge) to The Orchard cafe for refreshments. A great walk for twitchers. Pub at end of walk.

Greenwich to London Eye. Using the Thames path, passing through Surrey Quays. Lunch stop at The Angel PH. Then following river to The London Eye. Return from Westminster pier by the Thames Clipper. (Don’t forget your Oyster, Contactless, Travel cards)
